Interrogating Manchester.
Reflecting on the past week, analysing Manchester as a city and thinking about its history. Thinking about certain events and how they affected the city, such as the Industrial Revolution and how more and more people were moving towards the cities as that was where they would find work, leaving their county-livings behind. People having to realise that this was the way forward and many did rebel against the changes, many cottage weavers and spinners destroying the machinery in the mills that were taking away their livelihoods..
